The folllowing are the polices adopted by Paul's Drum Pad.
Attendance: Students are expected to show up for each lesson at the prearranged time. It may be in the student’s interest to come warmed up a little bit, and it is always a good idea to have the materials reviewed before coming. See Lesson Cancelation for cancelation policies.
Absences/Lesson Cancelation: In the event of a missed lesson, students (or parents) are required to contact me no later than 20 minutes before the lesson is scheduled to begin. I understand things come up and missed lessons will happen, so please send me a text message or an email if something does come up. Call if necessary (i.e. if you are not near a computer).
-The absence guidelines are as follows:
1.
No
more than ONE (1) missed lesson every four weeks (except with emergencies*)
2.
Notification
at least TWENTY (20) minutes before the lesson begins.
3.
Students
with excessive missed lessons (< 6) will be considered for dropping.
4.
In
the event of instructor absence, prepaid lesson will be reimbursed and a lesson
make-up will be offered free of charge outside the regular lesson time. The
instructor reserves the right to cancel lessons (see refund policy).
Preparation: Students are expected to arrived at the lesson having at the very least practiced the materials covered in the previous lesson. Due to the nature of drumming, some things must be learned sequentially and certain things not reviewed or learned will need to be recovered. Please practice to avoid wasting time and money!
Communication: Communication between the instructor and the students will be maintained via email at paulsdrumpad@gmail.com (I check my email frequently J)
If email is not available you may use the phone number listed on the INFO page. In the event of a lesson cancelation*, please contact me through email or text messaging. Reason being: I use unlimited texts and and I often miss calls. Please call if necessary.
Fees/Refunds: The fee/refund policy is as follows:
1.
Any
missed prepaid lessons will not be refunded.
2.
Returned
checks will be charged a $15 fee. Should a check be returned, the signer will
be notified the day of deposit via email at the given address. All fees and
debts must be settled at the next lesson (see Payment).
3.
Any
prepaid lesson missed by the instructor will be refunded in total and a make up
lesson will be offered free of charge at an agreed upon time other than the
regular lesson time.
4.
Any
pay per lesson missed by the instructor will be offered a make up lesson free
of charge.
Payment: Payments are to be made via the Paypal secure checkout provided under the PAY tab on this website. If you are unable to pay via this method, a check will be accepted.
All policies regarding fees & refunds are listed above.
--Payment must be submitted as follows:
1.
Payments
for Pay-Per-Week lessons must be made
by the end of each lesson.
2.
Payments
for Buy in Bulk lessons must be made
by the end of the first lesson of each month or the first lesson in beginning
month. (Packages started after the first week will be charged a reduced price.)
3.
Late/missed
payments will be allowed to stack once (i.e. a missed payment made during the
following lesson). Any missed payments must be made by the following lesson.
Finally, I understand that when it comes to learning, especially the drums, things can get frustrating. I am patient and am more than willing to help you whenever you need. However I would greatly appreciate it though if any aggression was left outside the lessons and not vented on the equipment here.
